- With over 2,500 people registered to volunteer for the 2010 Arctic Winter Games the Grande Prairie Host Society has met their volunteer recruitment goal

- ‘A HERO’S JOURNEY’ – OPENING & CLOSING CEREMONIES - $40

Traditional drummers to yoikers (it’s a type of singing perfected by the Sami people of Northern Scandinavia), the cultural participants from each of the Games’ nine circumpolar contingents will take their turn on stage at the Douglas J. Cardinal Centre for Performing Arts (GPRC). Tickets $50

 

- SPORTS SUPER PASSES – Your all-access-pass to preliminary rounds in each of the 21 indoor and outdoor sports featured in the Games. Events include sports that enjoy worldwide popularity, as well as the Arctic Sports and Dene Games that reflect the unique cultures
