As of this blog, Alberta North is in second place at the Arctic Winter Games here in Grande Prairie with 70 medals!  Way to go team!  Team Alaska is still number one in the medal count with 2 days of competition left.

I had a chance to try out 'dog sledding' at the Arctic Winter Games Trading Post in the Bowes Family Crystal Gardens (see photo).  On that note, make sure to drop by the Shine FM booth at the Trading Post for a chance to win a $250.00 gift card from Grande Prairie Canadian Tire.
